Houston Baby Party

Matt's mom and sister, Melissa, planned a special day in Houston for us to celebrate our little guy on the way!  The weather was absolutely perfect and all of our amazing friends came out.

There was a "Texas" theme so the tables were decorated with plaid table cloths, tiny horses and sheriff badges.  We had guacamole, salsa, seven layer dip and chips to munch on, along with tea sandwiches and yummy cupcakes.  We played "pin the sperm on the egg" and there was even a photo of what our baby might look like (I hope not!).

We opened our presents while decked out in baby-themed cowboy hats and got so many great things:  lots of outfits and necessities for when he arrives.

Our son will be set with Astros gear, Braves gear, Purdue and Penn State gear, and Cubs gear!  The favors were "Texas" glasses with bubble gum cigars and mints wrapped in a bandanna!  The whole day was really wonderful and we had the best time!  We are so lucky to have such great family and friends!
